Shane and Beth Lechtenberg‘s passion for doing things our way led them to start Salt & Sear Craft Beef. Beth has always been a health-conscious advocate for their family, constantly looking for ways to improve well-being. This drive to provide healthier, high-quality food is what inspired them to raise and sell beef. They’re committed to producing beef that not only tastes great but is also healthy and raised with care.
The cow herd began with Hereford and Angus cows, bred with Hereford and Angus bulls. Over the years, its transitioned to a more specialized breeding program, using Black Wagyu bulls to produce a high-quality cut of beef. This beef has become a kitchen staple, and they’re excited to share that experience with you, so you can enjoy it too.
Moving forward, their focus is on making a herd more efficient in grazing landscapes in a regenerative, sustainable way.
