Family Farm since the 1960s. We are looking to get ethically raised beef from farm to late in the most efficient way possible.

Erbe Ranch is located in Cat Spring, Texas. The property has been in Farmer Brian’s family for over one hundred thirty five years. The land gently slopes to the adjacent Little Benard River with wet-weather draws criss-crossing the property. There are at least two springs on the property that keep our ponds full even in dry weather. The property is covered in large oak trees, some with diameters in excess of five feet. The native soil is a mix of clay and sand, which makes for easy digging. The only rocks, however, were imported. Brian grew up on this land; hunting and fishing and helping his dad run cattle. Our mission for this property is preservation. We are utilizing natural, sustainable farming techniques to build the soil, grow native vegetation and clean the water. Using a multi-species farming model is extremely beneficial to the land. Each species utilizes the forages differently and each contributes to the land.

We didn't set out to reinvent the beef industry. We were just trying to play it smart and work hard to reach the highest levels of quality and excellence. But we weren't content producing the same product as everyone else. Our founder, Robert Rebholtz Sr., wanted to break new ground. Do something big. Shake up the industry. So we created an entirely new breed of cattle.

Taste The Difference

We are a small family farm in NE Texas. We raise grass-fed/grass finished beef. We incorporate regenerative principles in order to improve soil health and animal health. We also have free range layers available seasonally.

Our mission on Weyl Farms is to work with nature and learn from it. Nature does not mind being managed, but does not like being pushed and controlled. We work to improve the farm’s soil health, which leads to higher nutritional pasture forage for livestock and poultry. This then leads to higher quality meat and products for our community.

We are a family farm located in southern Illinois. We strive to be faithful stewards of the land and animals God has blessed us with. Our beef are 100% grass fed and finished, antibiotic free, not fed any genetically modified feed, and never given any added hormones. Our cows are raised on green grass or hay raised on our farm. We feed them all natural minerals to help them fight disease and stay happy and healthy. While we are not certified organic, we use many of the same practices and in some cases go above and beyond in regenerating our land and producing healthy food for you and your family. Markegard Family Grass-Fed provides the community with locally born, raised and processed certified grass-fed and grass-finished beef and lamb, pasture raised chicken and pork.
